I need groupid info for Permissions.SaveGroup - if you add a alphanumeric string as suggested by Support, you get:

SOAP Error: Not Found

if you leave it out, you get:

1

but nothing is created in the Group Admin area.

Is it not possible to add a group via the API? The documentation says the group will be created if it does not exist. Do you have to manually create it in the web interface first, to get a groupid?

I certainly hope that is not the case.
